Grade One, Two and Three School Readiness
The term "School Readiness" implies that the child is intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically ready to start formal learning and will thus be able to cope with the demands of school life.
Supportive, encouraging parents play a vital role right from infancy. By providing stimulating experiences such as educational games, reading and by capitalising on routine "mundane" situations, the child's senses, communication skills and experiences are developed and extended.
Our children in the Foundation Phase are exposed to a varied and well balanced programme to develop each of them on an individual level. Emphasis is placed on Groupwork, allowing pupils to progress at their own pace in each Learning Area.
Concepts, Skills, Values and Attitudes are constantly reinforced and encouraged.
