The current principal is Mr Carl Zimmermann who is supported by a staff complement of 46 educators in Grades 1 to 7 and 6 educators in Grade R. Each grade from 1 to 7 has at least 1 assistant teacher, as well as 3 assistants in Grade R. The school is based on a Christian ethos, although we are a multi-cultural school. The school is parallel-medium and represents a diversity of races, cultures and religions. We accomodate and respect all other religions and cultures. Our Remedial department (EST) consists of 1 permanent and 2 private remedial teachers, one occupational therapist, one hearing and speech therapist and 16 teachers, who are responsible for didactic aid. In 2005, a cultural centre was built and music tuition is offered by two permanent staff members and five semi-private / private music teachers. In 2009, a safety fence was erected around the entire premises of the school and a safety officer controls entrance to the grounds, at the main gate. The school also offers a wide variety of sport codes and extra-mural activities free of charge. Professional coaching is offered in different sport codes (privately as well). We are proud of our excellent facilities. We are one of the most well-equipped schools in the Western Cape, with a reputation for high standards.
